While Brasil was getting ready for possible drastic consequences from Covid-19 and isolation measures on people's incomes and food security, a group of small producers gathered to form a network called Pertim (which is Portuguese means "close").
The idea was to connect small producers to those in need. They sell boxes of organic products for those who can afford and donate boxes for those who can't.
More recently, they started teaching communities how to grow their own food.
